TRIARCH SLIDE
The Triarch Slide is rooted in the technology and functionality of The North Face. Performance on all levels is the guiding principle used to create a slide silhouette that is not only lightweight but possesses a dual cushioning story for maximum underfoot comfort.

Initial Exploration
The initial design thought was to be bold yet simple with the aesthetics. The energy of the design should flow from toe to heel. Encapsulate the essence of the slide by highlighting the softness of the strap and cushioning of the footbed.
Direction Refinement
There were originally only two questions asked during the design process. “What is the visual movement on the sidewall of the midsole going to be?” and “Should the slide strap be adjustable or fixed?” The dual density midsole would have to be visible to show off and highlight the underfoot cushioning.
Direction Finalization
The Triarch Slide final design is to have a fixed strap as well as a molded EVA topsheet in addition to a separate molded EVA outsole. The two part molded EVA midsole outsole is to create an underfoot dual density comfort story.
Market Release
Whether you're exploring the city or settling down at base camp, the Triarch Sliders combine a highly cushioned EVA footbed with non-slip soles for all-day comfort and support. The rocker-shaped sole is a nod to our trail-running DNA, capturing the spirit of adventure and freedom.
